Who We Are

Vandervert Hospitality, Inc. is a hotel management company located in Spokane Washington.  Dick and Bonnie Vandervert opened their first hotel in 1987.  They hired a management company for the Quality Inn Oakwood, but soon realized they wanted things run differently.  Bonnie took over as management for the hotel while Dick continued to build their successful construction company until selling the business in 2011. 

We are very proud of the tradition of excellence we maintain in our company. We have a reputation of providing our guests exceptional, personalized, efficient service and high-quality accommodations. We recognize that the cornerstone of our success is the quality employees that make our reputation a reality.

Our mission is to provide support and direction to our management staff at each hotel in order to maintain the standard of service we are known for.  We strive to deliver information relevant to daily operations to help our managers make the best decisions possible with regards to employees, service, and sales.

Bonnie Vandervert

Bonnie, along with her husband, Dick Vandervert, opened their first hotel in 1987.  They hired a management company for the Quality Inn Oakwood, but soon realized they wanted things run differently.  Bonnie took over as management for the hotel sparking expectations for outstanding service and quality accommodations and at her future properties.

Bonnie has been instrumental in the design and construction of the company’s five other hotels.  Hampton Inn Spokane Airport opened in 1992.  Four years later ground broke on two more Hampton Inns in Richland, WA and Kalispell, MT.  Hilton Garden Inn Spokane Airport (est. 2002) and Homewood Suites Richland (est. 2015) round out the Vandervert portfolio.  

Ralph Morgan

Director of Operations

Ralph Morgan started with Vandervert Hospitality, Inc. in 1991 as General Manager at Hampton Inn Spokane Airport. 

His position changed as the company grew.  He began overseeing the Quality Inn Oakwood and became Director of Operations in 1995 with the addition of Hampton Inn Richland and Hampton Inn Kalispell.

Ralph's responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of hotels, human resources as well as renovations and design.  

Nikki Burgess

Controller

Nikki began her career with Vandervert Hospitality, Inc. at the Quality Inn Oakwood in June 1994 as night auditor and desk clerk.  In September 1995 she was promoted to accounting assistant at the hotel’s corporate office.  As the hotel division grew, so did her responsibilities and eventually Nikki was promoted to controller for the hotel management company.  

Some of Nikki's responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable, processing payroll, managing employee benefits and generating financial statements.
